Attention Métis community

I am a Métis dental student looking for Métis participants to fill out an oral health survey. This is the first ever survey of Métis oral health.

Survey packages are available at Mount Carmel Clinic from:

  • general reception,
  • dental reception and
  • the pharmacy.

Each package contains:

  • a consent form, which must be signed and returned,
  • a survey form,
  • a postage-paid return envelope.

The survey is fairly easy to fill out, as most answers can be quickly circled. It should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. Anyone who is Métis is eligible to fill out the survey; you do not have to be a dental patient at Mount Carmel.

We hope to have the survey completed by the end of June.

Thank you,

Evan Ayers, University of Manitoba Dental School
