Point Douglas Residents Committee

The Point Douglas Residents Committee (PDRC) encourages all community members to join in helping to build on past and recent successes and guiding ongoing and future projects for everyone in the community.

How can you be involved?

To join a committee, all you need is a little time and interest. Committees looking for members are:

  • Environment Committee which works on community gardens, neighbourhood beautification, and other projects. If you are interested, call Tyson at 998-4268 or email  tyson.musicfirst@gmail.com

  • Housing Committee which, in consultation with the community, helps to improve the condition and availability of housing in Point Douglas. If you're interested, call Heather at 801-3086 or email info@pointdouglas.net

  • Become a Board Member. Board members have voting privileges. Board members will be elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which takes place on Sunday, April 25 at 2pm, at the Norquay Community Centre, 65 Granville Street. To learn more about being a Board member, call Jim at 589-2559.

The PDRC meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 5:30pm at 49 Euclid Ave (the Filipino Seniors Centre).

All residents of the community are welcome to attend this meeting.

You may visit the PDRC website to learn more about this organization.
